One of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul’s off-season signings, Yam Madar, sustained an injury which has kept him off the court against Bayern Munich in round 5.
On the 1st of November, Fenerbahce issued a statement announcing that the Israeli guard is back to team practice.
The Istanbul team also stated that Metecan Birsen’s individual recovery was continuing after the power forward was sidelined in the long term last year.
While Birsen is not expected to play, Madar’s potential return could be crucial in the upcoming round 6 game for Fenerbahce, which will pit the Turkish team against Olympiacos Piraeus in Istanbul.
The recipient of the EuroLeague Rising Star award last year, Madar is averaging 7.8 points and 8.5 PIR over four EuroLeague games this season. He was also the subject of a transfer controversy this summer between Misko Raznatovic and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, his former club.
