The relationship between Indonesia and Russia has grown increasingly close in recent years. Both countries share similar views on several global issues, particularly in supporting a multipolar world order. This common ground served as the foundation for the World Territory of Meanings Forum, which also saw the participation of NYC Indonesia. The strong bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Russia provided an essential backdrop for NYC Indonesia’s participation in this forum. By sending an Indonesian delegation, it is hoped that cooperation and mutual understanding between the youth of both nations will deepen. The forum offered a platform to strengthen these ties through…
Frankfurt, Paris (18/8 – 62.50) Ukraine has scored a series of victories in more than a week since launching a lightning offensive into Russian territory. Now the stakes are rising as its forces prepare to defend their gains and Russia begins to regain its footing. Last week, Ukraine deployed thousands of troops to the Kursk region in western Russia, removing Russian flags from captured towns and taking the initiative from Moscow for the first time in months. It also picked up 52 other migrants, including 16 children, who were trying to attempt to cross to Greece on rubber boats in the same region. Separately, it said it found 30…
Sanjiva Weerawarana is a Sri Lankan success story. He founded enterprise software firm WSO2 in 2005, got it close to $100 million in ARR as its CEO, then sold it to private equity firm EQT for $600 million in May. He sometimes drives for Uber, too. Sri Lanka isn’t renowned for its startup ecosystem, but one company has been something of an outlier in the South Asian island nation these past two decades. WSO2, an open source enterprise software provider with customers such as Samsung, Axa, and AT&T, recently agreed to be acquired by private equity giant EQT, at a valuation TechCrunch reported at the time…
Former Russian Deputy Defense Minister Tatyana Shevtsova, who officially was dismissed mid-June, fled to France ‘with hundreds of millions of dollars saved in cryptocurrency.’. Tsargrad and other Telegram channels report this with reference to several sources, although confirmation or refutation of this data has not yet been received. If she fled to France, it must be a deal with the French security service, as she is sanctioned in Europe. There is a version that Shevtsova allegedly cooperated with the investigation against the detained generals, trying to avoid her own charges. According to another version, the generals, to reduce their sentences,…
The renowned Turkish TV series market has been severely impacted by the ongoing economic crisis, prompting production companies to cancel all summer series this year and cut back on the number of shows for the upcoming season, according to journalist Birsen Altuntaş. Even though Turkey became the third-biggest TV series importer worldwide according to the Economist, the rising production cost began to affect producers. The cost of producing a TV series episode, which was around one to 1.5 million Turkish liras three years ago, has now soared to over 10 million liras. This drastic increase in production expenses encompassed actor salaries, screenwriter…

Toronto, Alaska (16/11 – 50) Our lives are being maneuvered and we are being manipulated by unelected, insidious forces, toward objectives not necessarily in the people’s interest. Now that the so-called “pandemic”, declared by the mysterious self-appointed World Health Organization, and followed obediently by governments everywhere, has been decreed “finished”, we should devote a moment to introspection, considering who is running the show and for whose benefit, as governments gaily abdicated their vested responsibility to govern. Pandemic is over? I hope they told those killer viruses who destroyed the population of Europe and North America. What? Oh, just 1% mortality?…
