Public transport means in Athens will change their regular schedules and routes on Saturday, October 28, due to the parades for the national holiday of OHI Day.
According to police announcement, the following measures will apply on Saturday:
-Metro station “Syntagma” will close at 08:00 and trains will pass through without stopping
-Tram line 6 “Pikrodafni-Syntagma” will temporarily end at FIX station, starting at 08:00
-Tram line 7 “Asklipiio Voulas-Aghia Triada, Piraeus” will temporarily end at SEF from 09:00.
Note that apart from the metro and the tram also buses will have to change their schedules in downtown Athens and locally in the suburbs.
Normal public transport services will be restored after the end of the parade and the celebrations for OHI Day, usually before 1 o’ clock noon.
