Izmir Metropolitan Municipality teams are continuing their work on a vehicle bridge over the stream that will ease vehicle traffic between Cemil Meriç Boulevard and 6779 street in Çiğli Aydınlıkevler District. The construction of the reinforced concrete piers and prefabricated beams of the single-span bridge, which will consist of 19 lanes, 20 meters long and 4 meters wide, continues.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, who went to the region to examine the works. Tunç SoyerHe stated that the bridge, which will cost 8 million TL, will be completed by the end of the year. Discussing the details of the project with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Özgür Ozan Yılmaz and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Technical Affairs Department Head Hamdi Ziya Aydın, Mayor Soyer said that the bridge will facilitate the connection of Çiğli Police Headquarters and educational institutions in the region with Anadolu Street. Soyer announced that with the completion of the bridge, they will also carry out intersection work and relieve traffic in the region.
